Description

People Management

Most people who move into people management do so because they are good at the task side of the job. People management is so different from task management and requires a completely new set of skills. To earn the respect of your team you need to be able to demonstrate your people management skills with confidence and conviction.

This 2 day workshop focuses on developing your interpersonal skills so you can adapt your style to each person you are managing. People Management Skills is a pragmatic learning workshop, based on the needs of each individual who attends and it reflects the complexity of people management skills by using well researched models of behaviour and real life examples.

Much of the training is carried out through discussion and activities plus the use of attendees’ own management situations as case studies. It is so important that your people management skills and styles are continually developed; hence this People Management Skills Workshop is essential training for both established and newly appointed managers, supervisors and team leaders.

I attended this course over the past two days and highly recommend it. Small group of ten, good facilities, appropriate pace and familiar delivery of content from a real expert! Particularly enjoyed the ability to shape the course to suit individual requirements. I will definately use The Development Company again and recommend them to others.
