Paula Curry is an Occupational Psychologist and Training Consultant with training and HR experience.

She joined The Development Company as a Consultant in October 2003. Prior to this she worked in Human Resources and Recruitment within the travel industry. Her most recent role was Training Manager within an NHS trust where she project managed the training function across all staff groups.

Paula is qualified to administer and interpret Level A Psychometric Tests and a variety of Level B Psychometric Instruments including Cattell’s 16PF and The Occupational Motivational Questionnaire (OQM).

Following on from completing her MSc in Occupational & Organisational Psychology Paula is now working towards attaining chartership status with the British Psychological Society.

 

Some of her recent achievements have included:

 
  • Managing a project to assist people in the local community to access employment through developing their basic skills.
 
  • Producing a set of guidelines on psychometric testing in recruitment for a London Borough Council.
 
  • Evaluating a Coaching & Management Development Programme at a London NHS Trust.
 
  • Designing, developing and project management of a culture change project for Barnet Council Housing Department involving 400 staff for the set up of the new ALMO
 
  • The main speaker on day one of a 2 day conference of a National UK charity on her specialist subjects of Strategic Change and Communication Skills to an audience of 70
 
  • Co-designer of a modular PA Programme to 120 PAs and Staff Officers for a Government Agency, South West England

  Paula’s specialist areas include minute taking and meeting skills, interpersonal skills and mentoring skills.
