| Adrian Green, founder of The Development Company, has been training for over 20 years. His first training position was with Barclaycard and then he held a variety of training and HR positions within Barclays Bank including Management Training Manager for Central Retail Services Division and Human Resource Research Manager at Barclaycard.
He set up The Development Company in 1994 and has since provided a wide variety of training to organisations in most sectors. Some of his more notable achievements are:

Adrian has also co-authored a book which explores how trainers can identify cultural difference in the workplace and use it to increase their training effectiveness. (Dealing With Difference - Williams and Green, Gower 1994).
His second book, 'The Business Approach to Training' (Gower, 1997) looks at the changing role of trainers and the need to be more focused on having an impact on the "bottom line".
Adrian is a trainer for in-house training projects on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Adrian is also an external researcher at Loughborough University.
He specialises in training competency based recruitment, selection and appraisal, customer care, trainer training, management development and managing change.
